In several A/B tests we noticed that our conversion rate got better by use of plain wordings like „Marketing Hacks“ instead of „Growth Hacks“ or „more customers“ instead of „more conversions“. Also using English words or anglicisms does not work well with German visitors / users.
Once again it’s advisable to put yourself in the shoes of your customers instead of using the „nerd language“ you would use internally at your company or within your bubble…
